      Dibels  - Kindergarten through 6th grade are assessed three times a year. 

      The DIBELS measures assess the 5 Big Ideas in early literacy identified by the National Reading Panel:

  • Phonemic Awareness
  • Alphabetic Principle
  • Accuracy and Fluency
  • Vocabulary
  • Comprehension

    M A P-  NWEA product. Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) are a series of computerized adaptive tests that measure a student’s general knowledge in reading, language usage and mathematics  

    The NWEA- MAP assessment is used to track overall student gains and provide placement information for Reading and Mathematics. The assessement is given three times a year to students Second through Seventh grade.

    MAP for Primary Grades (Kindergarten through second grade) assessments combine diagnostic tests and survey assessments to give insight into a  students' knowledge of core math and reading.

    Classroom assessments
    Assessment happens everyday in the classroom. Teachers gather information both in formal and informal ways to guide instruction and make decisions about learning.
